Current Information

The new building currently supports 785 students in 19 classrooms over 3 storeys.  The top students for the last several years have all been female.

The school wishes to implement a computer science program, but lacks enough computers in its lab to do so.  There are currently 4 computers.  The funds to purchase the existing 4 computers came from the PTA (parents-teachers association).  They desperately need 8 more computers to start the computer science/I.T. program by September 2004.

The current headmaster Mr. Danny Persaud has promised the students that he will try to attain the computers or the funds to purchase them. He needs the assistance of others in attaining the funds/computers to ensure the implementation of this program. The Ministry of Education has promised to provide help in setting up the computers at the school in September 2004.  However, the government will not supply the computers themselves.

This is the current library at the school.  It has only a limited supply of books, most of which are visible in this picture.  The complete library collection occupies just one wall.  Please click here for a video interview with the librarian detailing the kinds of supplies that are needed.

The science lab is also short of resources.

The school needs help in attaining further resources for its library and labs.
